Every Day Evangelism!
When it comes to witnessing for our Lord Jesus Christ and warning sinners of judgment to come, every day is a good format to do so. Certainly every day we can do some form of evangelism. Tell someone about Christ as you go out shopping, getting your hair done, getting the oil changed, pick up the telephone and beginning alphabetically with the phone book, make a few calls and give the gospel out. Put some tracts in your bills when you pay them, or get the addresses from the phone book and mail those in your community a tract or a letter explaining the gospel. Go to the local wal-mart and discreetly put tracts on the car windshields. They do have the right to ask you to leave, but if you are careful, you can get dozens or hundreds out. This is great for the family. My boys were raised on "secret missions" going to the malls like we were spies, dodging security, as we went from car to car. One can also take their spouse or their child and go through the neighborhood witnessing and distributing tracts. Fairs, festivals, etc. are great environments to distribute tracts and witness.
There should be no excuse brethren. If we do not witness consistently it is because we are not in the mindset to preach the gospel and warn sinners. And if that is the case, our mindset needs to change. I know that we are busy...but to busy to affect a soul for eternity? We have the PRIVILEGE to be used of God to deal with individuals about their eternal soul, death, judgment, hell and the truth! What an opportunity! Yet we go from place to place thinking of OURSELF, OUR BUSINESS AND HAT PLEASES US! We need to REPENT brethren. We need to see how wicked we are for taking lightly this great privilege that the Lord has allowed us to have. To AFFECT others for eternity, to be a tool of God to warn sinners of God's holiness and his sure judgment.
Here are a few pointers:
1. Every time you leave the house, do some form of evangelism. Grabbing a gallon of milk at the corner store, going to the Post Office or whatever we are doing. Getting gas on the way to church. Evangelism EVERY TIME that you leave the house. Even if it means just putting out a few tracts. No one is too busy for that and while verbal witnessing is best, tract distribution is better than nothing.
2. Everywhere you go, people ought to know a Christian was there. Again, the grocery store, the water company as we pay the bill, the Drivers License Bureau etc. How encouraged I have been after seeing a tract on the phone booth at Walmart etc. many times my children have found a tract in a place of business and brought it to my attention.
3. Pray at the beginning of the day or before you go out. Most of the time we ask the Lord to be with every tract that will be/has been given out and every person that we witnessed to.
Brethren, I must ask, what are you doing for the cause of evangelizing others for Christ and warning sinners, on a daily basis? Could you do better. No excuses. And if you are in a family where one person is gifted at evangelism and is consistent, do not allow that to excuse YOUR responsibility to witness and warn! Let us repent. Let us be serious about this matter, get to our knees, ask God for forgiveness for our selfish hearts, and commit to get to work for Christ like never before!
See, I can be encouraging. Just don't tell anyone, you will ruin my reputation.

Reasons to Preach In your Home Town
Hello Friends, I just thought that I would briefly share with you the importance of preaching where we live.
1. We become a visible lighthouse to the community for the gospel.
Even in a small town ( and yes, we ought to preach even in a small town) there will be dozens or hundreds that will see or hear some form of the gospel, if you are preaching and using signs or banners. Even those that do not like the preaching inevitably will get at least a scripture or two.
2. We are able to warn those in the community about sin, judgment, hell etc. This is vitally important as we increase in wickedness in our day. There are many today that have no clue about God's judgment or what is sin in His eyes. The majority think God is okay with fornication, homosexuality etc and it is the responsibility of the Christian to expose these errors (Eph. 5:11). We should warn and preach about these things because A) They are true b) We are commanded to in the scriptures and C) We care about others. Regarding the last point, we truly do not care about others if we are not warning them of these things.
3. Regular preaching in our hometown will set a STANDARD in the land. How much this is needed today brethren! There is no standard today as "anything goes" and God's opinion is not voiced by many of the saved even! It is important to preach at events, but important also to preach where we live. If only every city and town in America would have a street preaching ministry! Brethren, let us do our part to proclaim the gospel and to warn the wicked!
